Inclusion
At Saint Mark’s, we wholeheartedly embrace God’s inclusive love. We celebrate diversity and warmly welcome all, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, or physical ability. We are a spiritual community based on the simple concept of “All Are Welcome.” As our rector is often inclined to say, “It doesn’t matter how deep your faith is, which church you belong to, or what religion you’re running away from: You are welcome.”
As an Episcopal Church, we affirm the sacred worth of every individual and strive to create a nurturing space where everyone can fully participate in the life of our faith community and live into our mission of being a place where all people can grow, flourish, and rejoice. We hope that this is something that is lived out actively and not merely a theoretical concept. As you consider worshiping at Saint Mark’s, either as a visitor or as part of an ongoing practice, we invite you to call our current membership, or our leadership, on this if you should ever perceive that Saint Mark’s is “missing the mark” so to speak.
We invite you to join us on this journey of faith, love, and acceptance, as we seek to reflect the boundless love of Christ to all.
If you have any questions about this, please feel free to contact our Rector, Columba, at [email protected].
