Community Service
We encourage and support our members to represent St. Mark's through community service. We are actively involved in many projects and organizations.
Among them are:
Penn Yan Christmas Program, Penn Yan Food Pantry, Adopt-A-Highway, Habitat for Humanity, The Living Well, Yates Concert Series, Milly's Pantry, Weekend Back Pack Program, The Hunger Walk, and Community Theatre.

Farm Worker Memorial Service
St. Mark's hosted a memorial service for a dairy worker who died in an industrial accident to raise awareness about worker safety and the plight of undocumented workers.
The Hunger Walk
The Yates County Hunger Walk is a community event sponsored by The Penn Yan Area Council of Churches to raise funds to end hunger in our community.
Grandma's Kitchen
We volunteer once a month to feed students at Penn Yan Academy and Middle School after class and before extra-curricular activities.

The Living Well
We have long been a supporter of the Living Well, a ministry of the Penn Yan Council of Churches. Through fund raising events and the presence of our members as volunteers we continue to help those who are less fortunate in our community.
Habitat for Humanity
St. Mark's has long been a sponsoring congregation for Habitat for Humanity. Members of the parish participate in builds as they can and feel blessed by this way of supporting people in need of a place to live.
The Road Stewards
The parish has adopted two miles of highway north of the village. We gather from time to time to walk the road and pick up the litter.
